Hello PillReports!
I'm a new user, but a frequent reader. I recently purchased a test kit and would like to start sharing my findings.
This report covers one of many Purple Instagram beans that have been circulating around Southern California. I've searched for reports that cover this specific press but I couldn't find one that resembled this exact one. There are reports on another pill that looks just like this one, with the same press details; out pressed IG logo on the front, "Instagram" on the back with a horizontal score line seperating the word to "INSTA - GRAM". The only difference from that domestic press is the color, which is a much lighter purple. That pill has been tested and found to contain MDA. I suspect that they are the same, just different batches due to the similarities in their press. This pill however, is a semi-dark purple.
Tested with Mandelin, Marquis, and Mecke Reagents.
Mandelin: Straight to black instantly, but after about a minute, a turquoise/greenish hue popped up along the edge.
Marquis: Dark purple to black within a couple seconds.
Mecke: Dark green to black with a dark blue/green tone along the edge.
These are suspected to contain around 200mg of MDMA. They are also very thick, about 6mm to be exact.

Thanks for testing and welcome to pillreports. These don't look like the same instagram press that was producing pills with 125mgs+. Unfortunately, these probably contain a much lower dose. The tests still look good though, so enjoy!

Looks like the domestic press going around and that was MDA

These are the smaller lighter Instagram presses. There are also darker fatter ones that are suspected to have much higher content.

I have 2 different purple IGs from 2 different suppliers.. One, fa bit smaller, lighter purple, speckles.. The other, a lot bigger, dark purple, very pressed logo.
